What happens to your photos

Your photos are shrunk in your browser and sent over an encrypted connection to this site, which forwards them to OpenAI's Image API to draw the character. This site does not store photos or pictures, and keeps no copy of your character: the pack is built on your own device and exists only in this page until you close it.

What the server remembers

Your invite code (as a one-way hash), how many tries it has left, and what each request cost. Nothing else about you.

OpenAI

OpenAI's documentation (read 22 October 2026) says data sent to its API is not used to train its models unless you opt in, that abuse-monitoring logs are kept for up to 30 days, and that image inputs are scanned for child-safety material, with flagged images retained for manual review. So "nothing is kept" is true of this site, not of OpenAI.

Open-source software

Conversion of iPhone-style (HEIC) photos uses libheif-js by Kiril Vatev, a build of the libheif library by struktur AG, licensed under LGPL-3.0 (licence text). It is used unmodified and loaded only when needed. Thank you to the people who made and share it.

The pack file is built with fflate and UPNG.js (both MIT).
